About us
It started out simple. I assembled watches from cheap, off-the-shelf parts—first for myself, then for friends. They worked, they looked good, but they always lacked quality. I felt it was a half-measure. At some point, I decided: if I was going to create a watch that was truly unique, I had to design it from scratch.
Before I even started the project, I called numerous watchmakers and asked if it was possible to order personalized cases. The answer was always the same: "No, no one in Poland does that." And that's when I made the decision – I'd do it myself.
I invited a friend to collaborate. Together, using CAD Inventor, we created the design from scratch, step by step. It wasn't an easy path – we didn't know how watches were built, so we learned everything through hands-on experience. Over six months of work, calipers in hand, hundreds of measurements, and 3D-printed prototypes – that's how the RTJ-01 was born.
I went to watchmakers all over the city, asking about every detail:
Which clasp will be the best?
Will a screw-on lid increase durability?
How thick should the glass be to make the watch resistant to everyday impacts?
What seals and laces will ensure waterproofness?
Every answer and every tip went straight to the project.
Initially, I dreamed of having all production take place in Poland. Unfortunately, pricing and technological limitations made this unrealistic. I called dozens of CNC companies – some said the parts were too small, others said the quantities were too low, and those willing to take on the job quoted astronomical prices.
I realized that if I wanted the project to come to fruition, I had to seek out the best partners abroad. And I found one – a renowned manufacturer in Asia that produces watches of the highest quality. They helped me realize this project, but the watch itself – its design, technical solutions, proportions, and every detail – was created here, by me and my friend, from scratch.
I wanted the RTJ-01 to be more than just a "ready-made" watch, but a watch I know inside and out—from the first line in CAD to the final assembly. Every element is carefully considered, every detail matters.
For the watch's powerhouse, I chose the Swiss Sellita SW200-1 SA Anthracite movement. It's a virtually indestructible unit, prized in the watchmaking world for its precision and durability. The Anthracite version is extremely difficult to obtain – rare and very limited, further underlining the uniqueness of the entire project.
Our mission
Creating RTJ-01 is just the first step.
My main goal isn't just to design one watch. I have plenty of ideas for further projects, more unique designs. But the overarching goal is something bigger: building a micro-manufactory in Poland that will be able to produce watches from A to Z – from the case, through the dial and hands, to the bracelet.
By purchasing the RTJ-01, you support not only the creation of a limited series, but also a long-term vision – taking Polish watchmaking to the next level and creating a place where every detail is made locally.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the watch warranty?
Each watch is covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of delivery.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers all manufacturing and mechanical defects. In the event of a fault, the watch will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Mechanical damage resulting from a fall, impact or improper use.
Cosmetic damage (scratches, abrasions, discoloration).
Wear and tear of consumables (e.g. straps, bracelets).
Damage caused by failure to follow waterproofing recommendations.
Repairs performed by unauthorized persons.
How can I report a repair under warranty?
Simply contact us via the contact form. You'll receive instructions on how to safely return your watch for service.
Why are sales starting on Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform where customers can support a project before it officially launches. This allows us to finance the production of the first series of watches and offer our backers more attractive prices.
Is backing Kickstarter the same as purchasing in a store?
Not quite. Backing Kickstarter is a pre-sale of a crowdfunding campaign. This means you're backing the project before the watch is produced. Once the campaign ends and production begins, the watches will be shipped to backers.
What are the benefits of purchasing through Kickstarter?
Limited launch edition at a lower price.
Early customers receive their watches first.
The opportunity to become part of a community that has supported the brand from the very beginning.
When will I receive my watch?
The first watches are scheduled to ship in January 2026. In the event of production delays, all updates will be published directly on the Kickstarter campaign.
Is my support safe?
Yes. Kickstarter uses secure payments. If the campaign doesn't reach its goal, your account will not be charged.
Can I return a watch purchased on Kickstarter?
Kickstarter works a bit differently than a traditional store. Once the campaign ends, support is non-refundable in the standard way. However, all watches are covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty – if a defect occurs, we'll repair or replace it.
Will the watches be available for regular sale after the campaign?
The RTJ-01 watch is a limited edition of 100 pieces. If the entire series sells out during the Kickstarter campaign, the watch will never be available for sale again.
Only if we do not reach the full number of 100 orders, the remaining copies will be available for sale in our online store after the campaign ends.
