Refund policy

Return & Cancellation Policy - Rataj Watches

This policy applies to all orders placed at ratajwatches.com, including pre-orders. Last updated: July 2026.

1. Pre-order model

The RTJ-01 watch is sold as a pre-order. Payment is collected at the time of order, and the watch will be shipped at a later date specified on the product page (estimated shipping: Q4 2026). Each piece is individually numbered - your selected number is assigned to your order.

2. Pre-order cancellation

The RTJ-01 is a personalized product - the case back is engraved with the piece number chosen by the Customer. Under Article 38(3) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act (and in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

However, if production of your piece has not yet begun or the number has not yet been engraved, we allow cancellation and a full 100% refund within 14 business days. To check status and potentially cancel, email ratajwatches@gmail.com with your order number.

Once the engraving has been completed, cancellation is not possible.

3. Withdrawal after delivery

The RTJ-01, as a personalized product (individual number engraved on the case back), is exempt from the right of withdrawal under Article 38(3) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.

In case of product defects, you are entitled to statutory warranty claims - see section 4.

4. Defect claims (statutory warranty)

Under Polish law (Civil Code, Articles 556-576), we are liable for physical and legal defects of the product for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery. If the watch has a defect, you may request repair, replacement, a price reduction, or - in the case of a significant defect - withdraw from the contract.

Please submit claims to ratajwatches@gmail.com with a description and photographic documentation of the defect.

5. Manufacturer's warranty

Each RTJ-01 watch comes with a voluntary manufacturer's warranty of 24 months from the date of delivery, covering defects in the movement and workmanship.

The warranty does not cover: mechanical damage, signs of normal wear (scratches on crystal, case, or bracelet), damage resulting from improper use or unauthorized repairs, chemical exposure, or failure to follow the user manual. Full warranty terms are included in the warranty card shipped with the watch.

6. Project failure

Should the RTJ-01 project fail to materialize due to reasons on our side (e.g. production issues preventing delivery), all funds will be refunded in full within 30 days.
